When transferring a domain name from another registrar there is typically a processing period. Throughout the transfer process, your domain name/website will remain online. During this time you won’t be able to renew the domain, make any adjustments to your nameservers or WHOIS contacts until it finishes transferring.

The general transfer process for the majority of domains is as follows:

  1. Obtain your domain name password (EPP code) from your current registrar.
If you need help locating this, please contact your current domain provider for help.
  2. Order your domain name transfer from our website.
  3. The transfer will commence.
This may send the registrant contact an approval email before proceeding to the next stage (depending on the type of domain).
  4. The transfer will process over the next 1 to 7 days (depending on the type of domain).
