How to check name servers, A records, IP addresses, TXT records?
You can use whatsmydns.net to perform multiple tasks like name server checkup, TXT records, domain name A record lookup, and more.
When you perform a search at whatsmydns.net, you will see the green checkmark next to the record propagated at a particular server. In case of a red mark, there may be a communication issue between whatsmydns.net and the server or no records have propagated.
No matter if you want to check domain name information, A records, IP addresses, TXT records, or AAAA records, you can use whatsmydns.net. You need to follow the following steps:
- Open https://www.whatsmydns.net
- On the left side, you will see a bar where you can enter your domain name.
- In the drop-down list, you can choose anything you want to check. For example: “A records”.
- Click on the search button and that’s it.
- Now, you can see the results according to your search.
- Green checks mean that the record is propagated and red means there is any kind of issue.
- Choose another option from the dropdown list like TXT records if applicable.
