Pro Bono Website Design/Development Australia
Hi. I’m proud, happy and passionate about helping organisations with their existing website challenges or new website requirements.
I can’t promise I will have the time to help build your website or website functionality for you, but I can point you in the right direction and offer technical support if someone tech-savvy in your organisation is willing to tackle the challenge with some assistance from myself.
For instance, a Christian Library service in the North of Perth wanted to redesign their website to be more user friendly, more pleasing to use, and easier to maintain. They had discovered WordPress, a website building platform, and wanted some help designing a WordPress theme. I pointed them to a professional market place for WordPress themes where attractive and highly functional themes can be purchased for approximately US$50, and advised them how to customise the theme to tailor it to their requirements.
I might be able to advise you on what free or low cost services to use, like Mailchimp for managing email newsletters, and newsletter subscribers.
However, if your website needs to be built by a professional, and the functionality is within my skill set, I am more than likely happy to find the time to build your website for you.
Some pro bono work I have completed in the past:
- Annimac Consultants
- White Wreath Association
- ForACURE Stem Cells Research
- WAMSA – Western Australia Men’s Shed Association.
- Forest Legacy WA
- CASA – Community Action Services Australia
