There are 3 main vendors to choose from to accept credit cards through your website:
- PayPal
- Stripe
- eWay
PayPal
With PayPal configured, when the customer clicks Pay Now, they’re taken to the PayPal website, where they can enter their credit card details, or login to their PayPal account and pay from their PayPal account. After payment is completed, the customer is redirected to your website where an order confirmation screen is displayed. Funds will be deposited into your PayPal business account, which you can move at any time into your normal business bank account with zero fees.
Fees: 2.90% + A$0.30

Stripe
Stripe is a competitor to PayPal, but the advantage is customers enter their credit card details through your website, rather than on the Stripe website, meaning the customer experience is seamless. Funds are deposited into your Stripe account, which can be transferred into your own business bank account at any time for free.
Fees: 1.75% + A$0.30

eWay
eWay is an Australian merchant gateway operating in the same way to Stripe – customers enter their credit card details into your own website payment page, funds are deposited into your eWay account, which can be transferred to your own business bank account at any time for free.
Fees: 1.5% + A$0.20
